About the Author

Dr. Kaushik Kundu has over 27 years’ experience in industry, research and teaching. He teaches courses on Operations Management, Human Resources Management, Organization Behaviour and Behavioural Economics. He is a reviewer for journals and books published by eminent publishers.
He obtained his PhD in business management from University of Calcutta. Dr. Kundu has guided multiple Ph.D. scholars.  He has more than fifty research publications in peer reviewed journals, numerous book chapters and two complete published books including the first edition of this book. He is also affiliated to a number of government and quasi-government committees and organizations.

Dr. Dev Narayan Sarkar is presently the Senior Vice President and the Head of Marketing and Sales (B2C), Godrej Interio, Godrej and Boyce manufacturing Co. Ltd. Prior to this, he was with PepsiCo India Ltd. Served as the Director. Dev Narayan has also worked with some benchmarked organizations like Coca Cola as marketing manager, Nokia (as regional sales manager) etc. Dev Narayan was admitted to the PhD degree from University of Calcutta for this landmark research thesis, “Modelling Purchase Behaviour of Rural Unorganized FMCG Retailers: A Study in the Context of Rural Marketing in Eastern India”. He has published numerous research papers in the world renowned journals such as Journal of Rural Studies, AMS Review, Journal of Retailing and Consumers Behaviour to mention a few. Dev Narayan has completed his MBA degree from Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University and took his Bachelor of Engineering degree from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra.   
Beside his professional engagement, Dev Narayan is a prolific speaker and has a deep passion for teaching. He lectured and taught classes the top B Schools and management departments of the top universities of the country such as IIM, Calcutta, XLRI, Jamshedpur, University of Calcutta etc. Dev Narayan also presented a number of papers in the number of International Conferences.
