About the Author
Dr. Jagadish Pal obtained his B.E. and M.E. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, in 1977 and 1980, respectively. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (Formerly B.E. College), Shibpur, Howrah, in 2002. He served the Electrical Engineering Department, IIEST, Shibpur, as a teaching faculty member from 1986 until his retirement in 2020 post of professor. Presently he is a full-time author in the subjects of Electrical Engineering and C programming. He has three years of industrial and thirty-six years of teaching experience. During his teaching career, he guided post-graduate and Ph.D. students. Dr. Pal has published several papers in national journals and national & international conferences. He authored two books, namely (i) “Programming in C Language” and (ii) Power System Security Analysis and Control”. He is a life member of the Institution of Engineers (India).
